April's Real Deal Comedy Jam tour was one of the best comedy tours ever, the line-up was brilliant. The tour featured new comedian from London Littleman, Glenda Jaxson, Richard Blackwood, US comic Talent and as per usual was hosted by Kat.

Littleman, relatively new to the comedy game with just 18 months worth of experience under his belt was a little nervous on the first leg of the tour in Nottingham. But once up on the stage he delivered a comedy set that was much more advanced than his stage time would suggest. He had the crowd right where he wanted them and seemed to grow in confidence as the show went on. His performances grew with confidence as the tour progressed. Definitely one to look out for, this kid has a big future in the comedy industry.

As good as ever Glenda Jaxson is increasingly building a reputation for delivering consistent performances. Her delivery and timing was spot on and her stories about ever day life are relevant to everybody.

Eagerly awaited by everyone at all the show on the tour, especially by the females. Richard Blackwood is one of the real stars on the UK urban stand up comedy scene. Being such a big name on a tour known for delivering the very best in stand up. Richard knew he had to deliver, and he didn't let anyone down. On stage Richard was enjoying himself, performing a comedy set whilst still having the confidence of being spontaneous and playing with the audience. At the Birmingham show Richard did a performance that could only be described as masterful. It was almost as if he had something to prove and was determined to come out hard. Its was great to see him back where he belongs on the premier urban stand up comedy circuit his jokes were hilarious.

Talent was both verbally and physically hilarious. Definitely one of the best comedians to make the transition from the US to the slightly different audiences found in the UK. US Comedian Talent came onto the tour as a last minute replacement for Melanie Comarcho. Melanie was unable to fly to the UK due to the unprecedented Volcano situation which caused the UK to have no flights in or out. Talent actually turned a bad situation into a blessing.

Kat is quite simply one of the most naturally funny people in the UK. Mr Real Deal Comedy Jam himself. He spontaneously pulled jokes from situations happening around him. Regularly asking the audiences question pulling them into the show. Is there a better compere out there? I doubt it.
